Plot

Episode number 227 starts with Naruto and his team on a boat in the middle of a storm, when a Giagle kidnaps Gai and this forces all the team from the boat to land on an island to search for Gai. This island is full of giant animals (spiders, snakes) results of misterious experiments. Then they find out that they are on a Summoning Island and the island’s objective is to create the strongest summoning creature. After this creature is alve it seems it can use all the justus from the animals that it had eaten before. In the end Naruto succeds entering sage mode and blasts the creature with RasenShuriken in the volcano lava.
